I looked into it and I don't think that's exactly an issue of corruption but an audio driver not being in the correct spot in the device manager. And also I have sound for that audio jack, I tested it out making my communication headphone device default and it gave me sound, so I think the audio isn't going to the front jacks because the sound is definitely working in the front.
